Press centre

The Press and Public Affairs Section of the Embassy is responsible for presenting and promoting UK policy in Israel. Its activities include:

  • acting as the point of contact between the Embassy and Israeli, British and international media
  • issuing press releases on stories of interest to local media 
  • arranging media interviews for visiting British officials and Embassy representatives
  • providing news and background material about British policies on national and international issues
  • responding to local requests for information about the UK 
  • maintaining the Embassy’s website
